Pilgrimage Program

Summer Pilgrimage Program

Historically, to go on pilgrimage was to go into exile; to leave your land to live an itinerant life of preaching; or to go to a holy place. These three forms of pilgrimage imply a journey, in some cases one that never comes back to the original place. In the case of visiting a holy place, it implies coming back transformed, different from who we were before. After visiting the places walked by either Jesus himself or a particular saint, and learning about their lives, culture, challenges, and historical circumstances, we learn how they pronounced their “YES” to God in word and action, and how we are called to do the same.

Our pilgrimages are an invitation to journey as community and to deepen our faith by walking with and accompanying one another. Please join us next summer as we gather to seek God once again through exploration and integration of culture and spirituality!
