    Marcus is a Graduate Student Counselor in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program at Loyola University of Chicago. He received his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Montclair State University and his B.A. from Rutgers University-Newark. Over the past year, Marcus has primarily been conducting clinical interviews and neuropsychological assessments with adolescents through the ACCTION Lab at Loyola. His research interests are centered on understanding how Black and Latino/Latina/Latine youth cope with traumatic experiences and investigating the impact trauma/stress has on youth through qualitative methods. Marcus is passionate about working with students of color, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized populations. Marcus enjoys going to the lake, trying new restaurants, and playing chess in his free time.
