Mackenzie DiFiore (She/Her/Hers)

Mackenzie is a neurodivergent, queer identifying woman with an interest in working with adolescents and emerging adults. Mackenzie recently obtained her bachelors degree from Loyola’s School of Social Work and is continuing into her fifth year in the MSW program. Prior to this placement, Mackenzie completed her 1st level internship at Legal Aid Chicago. In this role, she used harm-reduction based practices to support her clients. Mackenzie utilizes a strengths-based, holistic approach, aiming to create a collaborative and empathic therapeutic environment. She firmly believes that acknowledging an individual's external environment and lived experiences is essential for their empowerment. Outside of Loyola, Mackenzie enjoys cooking, baking, and listening to her favorite artists.
