This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice,
let us rejoice, let us rejoice and be glad.

VERSE 1
Give thanks to the Lord who is good,
whose love endures for ever.
Let the children of Israel say:
"God's love endures for ever."

VERSE 2
Open to use the gates of holiness:
we will enter and give thanks.
We will thank you for you have answered
and you are our savior.

VERSE 3
This is the work of the Lord,
a marvel in our eyes.
This day was made by the Lord;
we rejoice and are glad.
