History of Philosophy Roundtable Spring 2024 Talks

The History of Philosophy Roundtable will host three talks this semester.

The first talk will be by Huimin Liu, a graduate student at the University of Notre Dame. The topic will be "Descartes on Materially False Ideas and Their Objective Reality". This talk will be on Friday, February 16 from 2:45pm to 4:00pm (Crown Center 530 - tentative).

The second talk will be by Dr. Anthony Gudwien, who is from Loyola University Chicago. The topic will be "Worthiness, Happiness, and Embodiment in Kant's Critical Philosophy". This talk will be held on Friday, March 15 from 2:45pm to 4:00pm (Crown Center 530 - tentative).

The final talk will be by Dr. Seyed Mousavian, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University Chicago. The topic will be "Avicenna on "Abstraction"". This talk will be held on Friday, April 12 from 2:45pm to 4:00pm (Crown Center 530 - tentative).
