Fall 2016 at LUMA celebrated the naming of the Jean Morman Unsworth Art Expressways Gallery featuring artwork by K through 12 students from the Chicagoland area. Jean Unsworth has been a long-time friend of LUMA. She taught at Loyola University from 1971 to 1987 and was invited to be on the board of directors when LUMA first opened in 2005.

Each exhibition in the gallery is hung by museum professionals and includes museum-quality labels and a descriptive panel outlining the art project.
