Faculty & Staff Benefits

Loyola University Chicago (Loyola) supports its employees and retirees with a wide array of benefits centered around health and wellness, financial security, and work-life balance. These benefits are affordable, comprehensive, and competitive.

At Loyola, our commitment to cura personalis, or care for the whole person, extends to the benefits we offer our faculty and staff. Newly hired benefits-eligible faculty and staff have 31 days from the date of hire to enroll in our benefit offerings. As you consider your options, we encourage you to select plans that best support your needs and those of your family, including the flexible spending and health savings account elections. Please note, changes to your benefits outside of this new hire 31 day window can only be made if you or a family member experiences an IRS-qualifying event or during annual open enrollment each fall.

For a complete overview of our benefit offerings and resources, please review the Benefits Booklet or explore the HR webpages below.  If you have questions, please contact Human Resources at 312.915.6175 or benefits@luc.edu.
