Housing and Dining
Loyola’s ELLP students can choose from a variety of housing options. The following are the most common:
- Living on Campus: If you are interested in living in Loyola Housing, please review your options on the Residence Life Webpage—http://www.luc.edu/reslife/index.shtml
All questions regarding on-campus housing can be directed to this e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Homestay: Some students enjoy the experience of living with an American family. If you are interested in this option, please visit https://www.homestay.com/, http://www.chicagohomestaysearch.com/, http://www.homestaynetwork.com, or www.myinternationalfamily.com.
- Living Off Campus: There are many housing options off-campus. One in particular that is a good choice for our ESL students is an apartment building called The Sovereign. For more information, please visit their website: http://www.thesovereign.com/.
Loyola University Chicago’s ELLP Program aims to provide students with housing options both within the university and within the city of Chicago. The ESL Program, however, makes no guarantee as to the suitability of houseguests or accommodations. The ELLP Program is not responsible for any problems that arise from these accommodations. If you have questions about a particular neighborhood, feel free to e-mail email@example.com.
- International House: The International House offers students a unique opportunity to live in a community that promotes cross-cultural learning. We offer single and double rooms with a private bathroom and have a full kitchen, lounge, computer lab and laundry room in the building. If you are interested in living in a community with international and domestic students or want more information please visit http://www.luc.edu/oip/i-house/ or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
