What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?

My co-workers in the MNSON and the beautiful location on Lakeshore Campus.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?

I was with the first cohort of the Ignatian Staff Seminar facilitated by Chris Murphy. I appreciated the opportunity to learn and engage deeper with Jesuit history, values and pedagogy while meeting fellow co-workers from across the university. As a result of that seminar, I worked with staff leadership in the school to bring Chris to the MNSON for a half-day session with staff and we followed it with a social activity.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?

The most impactful part of LUC's mission is "...working to expand knowledge in the service of humanity...". It reminds me that we are all connected as humans, that I am always learning, and reminds me to consider a greater good in my actions.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?

The students that we are preparing to care for others as nurses. And my 9-year-old daughter.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride:

I love to share where I work with anyone I meet.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you:

My organizing background and experience working in the public interest field before joining LUC.
