What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Feeling empowered and trusted by my team and divisional leadership to do my job well.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
The success of significantly improving Loyola's Move In processes. I inherited a process that was less-than-stellar, and through intentional assessment and creative problem-solving, we now have a process that maintains a high level of student and family satisfaction while reducing the strain on our staff members.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Loyola's mission serves as a personal reminder and call-to-action that our work and our lives do not exist in a vacuum, and we must always strive to cherish and value the humanity that connects us all.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
As important as it is to feel valued, I am always motivated by the desire to also add value to a situation. I am driven by the sense of accomplishment that comes from feeling like I've truly contributed to a process or a decision that helped make someone's experience a little better.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride:
Simply being helpful, positive, and engaging with students and their families. I've volunteered to support Family Weekend three years now, and there is an intense pride that is fostered as a Loyola representative when you get to help guests feel welcomed on campus.
