What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?

The people.  I’ve seen many changes over the past 40+ years, but the faculty and staff have been consistent with their support and dedication to Loyola’s mission.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?

Receiving the 2007 Kay Egan award.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?

As a graduate of Loyola (BS '82, MS '87) I can say that Loyola offers a well-rounded education and cares about the student's whole experience.  Providing a good foundation in the student's desired field of study and allowing for individualism.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?

By providing faculty, staff and departments with their technological communication and collaboration needs.  Whether solving an issue or improving the work experience, it's a win.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride:

Over the years I’ve accumulated a lot of Loyola items.  Looking around at my office, it’s quite obvious that I’m proud of Loyola.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you:

Several years after being hired, my director jokingly mentioned that the HR manager who approved of my hiring had some initial concerns about me.  They thought I would use Loyola as a stepping stone and move on in a few years.  It's been almost 42 years since I was hired, I guess I like it here.
