What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola? The people I am fortunate enough to work with each day. I enjoy the sense of comradery I share with my colleagues in ITS. I also cherish my experiences graduating from SCPS and working in Advancement, which have offered me the opportunity to build relationships and friendships with many people in the Loyola community.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? Making the transition to my current role as an ERP Analyst in ITS is a milestone achievement that I am proud of. While I am grateful for my experience working with the wonderful people in the Advancement division, I am proud that I took the risk and the challenge to work in ITS. I am constantly learning each day and I feel fortunate to work with such a passionate and talented group of people.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you? The realization that I am helping to serve the greater good and that I am contributing to a cause that is much bigger than myself. This notion really resonates with me and I’m proud to be a part of Loyola and contribute to the positive impact this institution has on the students, the community, and the city of Chicago.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day? My family. Between my 12-year old stepdaughter, my 7-month old baby girl, and my wife, my family is my primary inspiration to strive for success and motivates me to be the best person that I can be.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride. My family and I love showing off our Loyola apparel. We are especially fond of our famous Loyola scarves that have become a mainstay accessory each winter.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you. I am an avid Peloton rider and just surpassed my 200th ride since getting the bike last December. If circumstances allow, my goal is to celebrate my 1,000th ride at a live class at the Peloton headquarters in New York City. Until then, I have a lot of pedaling to do!
