What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola? My hardworking colleagues who routinely go above and beyond for our students and each other. They create a true sense of teamwork and keep me motivated every day.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee? I built our Financial Wellness programming from the ground up and recently passed the Certified Personal Finance Counselor® exam.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you? Loyola’s mission inspires me to fight against injustice and work toward a more equitable world.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day? I often work with students who are in crisis and just looking for someone to point them in the right direction. They motivate me to improve access to resources, share knowledge more openly and widely, and to advocate for them at every opportunity.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride. I love to wear Loyola gear when I’m volunteering in the community. It often sparks a conversation, especially when I mention that I work in Financial Aid!
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you. I grew up outside a small town in Kansas and had a graduating senior class of only 16 people.
