What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Getting to collaborate with dedicated colleagues who are committed to helping students succeed.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
To me, Loyola's mission calls us to be a university community for others—that the teaching and research we support is intended to have a positive impact on our communities. This extends to the work we do in educating, challenging, and supporting our students "to lead extraordinary lives" so they, too, can make an impact on our world.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I am motivated by students, and I am inspired by the work of colleagues who tirelessly support students in achieving their goals.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
Whenever I travel, I often don Loyola gear—you never know when you're going to run into a fellow Rambler.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
My first visit to Loyola (and to Chicago) was when I was in college, visiting my sister who was a Jesuit Volunteer Corp (JVC) member living in the Edgewater neighborhood at the time. That visit 25 years ago would plant the seed that would develop into my interest in joining the Loyola community as a staff member 12 years later.
