What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The people that I work with! My manager, co-workers, and many others who I know are all excellent to be around.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
When, under the direction of my manager, I created a system that made our graduate funnel reports take 20 minutes to create instead of three hours. That was satisfying.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
I think that one great effect of the Jesuit mission is that it creates a caring culture around campus. See my answer to the first question.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I don't like leaving things in my wake that have to be fixed. That doesn't make for a good reputation, and to be honest, I enjoy knowing that people trust me to get the job done right.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
Sometimes students come into our suite looking for a particular room in the Sullivan Center. Instead of just telling them I don't know where it is, I go with them to find it. I think that leaves a good impression of Loyola.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
Maybe that I play the piano, and that I'm a weekend DJ at 95.9 The River, an Aurora radio station.
