What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I work with great people. I enjoy working in an environment surrounded by talented, engaging, and generous people. There is so much to learn from my teammates, and I appreciate them sharing their wealth of knowledge.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Being nominated for the Commitment to Excellence Award was a great achievement. It meant that I have been making a positive impact in the short time I've been with the University.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Striving for excellence goes beyond the confines of campus but sometimes it is easy to lose sight of that. Loyola encourages faculty, staff, and students to truly make a contribution out in the world and be a part of a greater purpose.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
A desire to learn and better myself as I make a contribution to the success of the University motivates me. Loyola provides many opportunities to that foster growth and knowledge, and I feel blessed to take advantage of those. I also have great support from family and friends who inspire me to succeed.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
As a graphic designer, my job is to creatively and consistently market the brand across multiple platforms. I am working to keep Rambler spirit recognizable every day. I use a lot of maroon.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
When I moved to the city this summer, I started running along the beautiful lakeshore—it made long runs much more bearable. I recently ran my first half-marathon, and plan to run the Chicago marathon next fall.
