What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I love the amazing people here. Students who are bright and passionate, staff who are talented and dedicated, and faculty who are innovative and brilliant. I appreciate that people are committed to the mission of the institution and that there is a focus on transformative education.  

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
In my first year at Loyola, I advised a student committee who planned the National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference. The students did a fabulous job welcoming over 330 guests from Jesuit colleges and universities and hosted an outstanding five day conference. Highlights included the opening ceremony, over 50 workshop sessions, three keynote speakers, a day of service, a number of activities, and a closing banquet at the Chicago Cultural Center.  

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
I value the commitment to social justice, focus on reflection, and care for the whole person. I appreciate that members of the Loyola community share this commitment.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day? 
I love being part of students' journeys as they learn more about themselves and the world and recognize the potential they have to influence positive change in the world. 

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride. 
I enjoy being part of Loyola traditions such as cheering during the Convocation Walk, serving at the Finals Breakfast, and celebrating students' accomplishments at the Weekend of Excellence. 

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
Although many of the staff in the Division of Student Development know this, most people at Loyola may not know that I am currently working on my doctorate in higher education. My research interest is the development of leadership self-efficacy for women students.
