Years at Loyola: 10 (in October)
What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
While I enjoy my work, the people I work with every day really do make it all worthwhile.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Actually, looking back, I’ll say it was coordinating my course for the very first academic year. Coming from a business background, there was a bit of adjustment, and much to learn in a short amount of time throughout the academic year. My colleagues helped immensely in this transition.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
You don’t see the words “learning, justice, and faith” in a lot of mission statements. I like the balance these words speak to.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
Years ago my dad told me to never do anything halfway. I’ve followed that advice as best I can.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
Well, my wife, daughter, and I all graduated from Loyola. I’d say we are all part of that Rambler tradition.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I’m a registered tribal member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, turtle clan. I collect turtles. It’s fun, and a way to stay connected to the Native American part of me.
