What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I love interacting with so many different colleagues, students, faculty members, and guests.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Professionally, it’s being able to provide a service to our customers. Personally, it’s when I get a card from a parent, or I meet a student’s parent, and they thank me for being a part of their child’s life and the difference I might have made in their lives.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
Respecting people for their beliefs, and working together for the best of this University, and ultimately, the world.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I consider myself a problem-solver. In the hospitality industry, clients will continually face obstacles. I enjoy helping them, and others, find resolutions.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I wear my maroon and gold and volunteer for events at the various campuses.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I used to inspect fields as part of the grain certification process when I worked at the Crop Improvement Association. I would have said that my brother and I have a tradition of competing in the American Pie Baking Championship every April, but I think that there are more that know about this than don’t!
