What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
The people. In my six-plus years here I’ve made lifelong friends.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Getting my MS in Integrated Marketing and Communication from Quinlan School of Business. I made friends with awesome people, studied abroad in Southeast Asia, and got to experience the “product” we sell firsthand. Having a U-Pass was pretty cool too.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
At any workplace it’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind, and I think the mission provides a great reminder of the higher purpose we are all here to serve.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
The 15+ interns our department employs, and relies on. Most marketers don’t have the privilege of working side-by-side with their consumers! Loyola’s students impress me on a daily basis—I’m proud to work for an institution that is fostering the next generation of compassionate leaders.
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
By being the brand police! I’m kind of kidding … but by working every day to promote, and enforce, Loyola’s brand standards I believe we are helping to make Loyola an even better-recognized name in higher ed.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
I’m a marathon runner… in part to offset my other hobby of being a marathon eater. :)
