What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
Being able to help the faculty and staff when they lose their power or lights. They are always so thankful, and that's so gratifying to me.
What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Working to finally get a new electrical power distribution service in the 90-year-old Lewis Towers building.
What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
I try to follow the Loyola mission by being a good Christian and helping others.
What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I love doing electrical work and I take pride in the work that I do. My father always told me that a job worth doing is worth doing well. I tend to be a perfectionist!
Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
I’m always bragging about Loyola.
Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
For 20 years, I parked my car at the Lincoln Park Zoo and walked to and from Loyola, about 1.5 miles each way, on a daily basis. Now, I only walk to and from work in the warmer weather. It's such a nice walk along Lake Michigan.
