Corporate Groups
Communication, solidarity, and harmony are essential to the productivity of any highly functioning team. Loyola University Chicago’s Retreat and Ecology Campus (LUREC) provides the ideal spaces to develop your team’s problem-solving and leadership skills.
A natural setting in Woodstock, IL, 50 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, LUREC offers modern meeting rooms, overnight lodging, culinary classes, and events for large and small corporate outings.
Meeting Rooms
Collaborate and reflect in large or small groups in LUREC’s multipurpose rooms, computer labs, lounges, classrooms, a chapel, and other meeting rooms, which can accommodate from 10–200 people. Projection screens, microphones, LCD projectors, TVs, DVD players, and white boards for presentations are also available.
Overnight Accommodations
Hotel-style single and double rooms provide a relaxing and quiet resting space, available for multi-day corporate retreats.
Team-Building
Group culinary courses encourage participation in each step of the cooking process. Groups have the chance to plan, prepare and enjoy a meal together, all with produce from LUREC’s on-site gardens. Sustainable cooking methods are taught by professional chefs.
Outdoor Activities
Connect your mind, body, and spirit to nature in LUREC’s 98-acre woods, prairies, and wetlands year-round through hikes, meditations, and bird watching. Basketball and tennis courts are also available.
