Chaucer Reading Report

Inspired by a MSTU student’s plaint that there just are not enough excuses to read Middle English aloud, a group of enthusiasts met on Wednesday April 5 for a thoroughly amateur  read-in of Chaucer's General Prologue to the Canterbury Tales. Snacks, mutual encouragement and general hilarity were the rule of the day.  We tackled the Prologue  “with hertly wyl” and did rather a fine job of it!
