2021 Midnight Bike Ride

Professor Tim Gilfoyle once again led more than 80 students, faculty, and staff on an all-night bike tour of Chicago history. Starting at Lake Shore campus and winding its way south through neighborhoods, stopping at churches, schools, industry, community organizations, and nightlife, the tour pedaled through the Guns'N'Roses fans spilling out of their Wrigley Field concert, saw first-hand innovative and controversial urban development projects, and ended up at a local diner for and early breakfast.
