Cord A. Scott

Cord A. Scott graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Ph.D. in American History in 2011. He is now a full professor for the University of Maryland Global Campus system. He teaches history and government to US military personnel in Asia and has been working with them for five years. He still writes and will have a couple of articles out this years. One is an article written for Pritzker Military Library on Bill Mauldin’s cartoons from Korea.  He will be speaking at Cantigny in June on military cartoons and comics.  He is also "passively" working with historians on the 75th Anniversary of Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and Japan's surrender, as well as the 70th anniversary of the start of the Korean War.
