Professor Elizabeth Fraterrigo Awarded Research Support Grant from the Schlesinger Library

Associate Prof. of History Elizabeth Fraterrigo has been awarded a Research Support Grant from the Schlesinger Library to work at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University.  Prof. Fraterrigo will work in the National Organization for Women (NOW) Papers at the Radcliffe Institute as part of a book project examining the relationship of postwar American feminism and popular culture, in particular how feminist activists worked to change, manipulate and criticize negative stereotypes and images often associated with feminism.
