Dean of Libraries Named 2015 ACRL Academic/Research Librarian of the Year

The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) recently named Robert A. Seal, Dean of University Libraries, the 2015 Academic/Research Librarian of the Year. The ACRL's award honors a librarian who has made a significant contribution to academic/research librarianship and library development. Under Dean Seal's leadership, the University Libraries undertook many innovative projects which have provided the History Department's students and faculty with resources that enable the highest level of scholarship. Dean Seal will receive his award at the ACRL's conference in Portland, Oregon on March 26.  The Loyola History Department congratulates Dean Seal for his outstanding achievements.
