A Presentation on Astronomy and Faith
Against the backdrop of the present-day polemics regarding ''science vs. faith'' is the story of how the Big Bang model came to be, thanks to a Catholic priest. Frontier research in modern astronomy continues to be pursued today at the Vatican. Speaker Dr. Jonathan Lunine described his experiences working with these top notch, Jesuit astronomers. 
Inaugural Address
Jo Ann Rooney, JD, LLM, EdD, was officially installed November 4, 2016, as the 24th president of Loyola University Chicago. About 1,000 people filled the floor of Gentile Arena for Dr. Rooney’s formal inauguration.
