2017 Baum Lecture: Mary Robinson
Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland and head of the Mary Robinson Foundation, was the keynote speaker at the 2017 Baum Lecture held at Mundelein Auditorium on March 16, 2017. She was introduced by Loyola University Chicago President Jo Ann Rooney, JD, LLM, EdD. The lecture, hosted by the Gannon Center for Women and Leadership and the Institute of Environmental Sustainability, kicked off the Fourth Annual Climate Change Conference held at Loyola's Lake Shore campus. -

2016 Presidential Inauguration
Jo Ann Rooney, JD, LLM, EdD, was officially installed November 4, 2016, as the 24th president of Loyola University Chicago. About 1,000 people filled the floor of Gentile Arena for Dr. Rooney’s formal inauguration.
