Damen Society

The Damen Society recognizes alumni, parents, friends, faculty, and staff who advance Loyola through personal, annual gifts of $1,000 or more to any area of the University. Arnold Damen, S.J., (pictured left) was the founder and first president of St. Ignatius College, now known as Loyola University Chicago. Today, Loyola continues to carry on Father Damen's vision to unite a diverse student body for one common goal: preparing people to lead extraordinary lives.  The generous contributions made by Damen Society members provide the University with essential funds and establish a high standard of giving to propel the University forward.

We are immensely grateful to both our long-standing and new Damen Society members for their investment in Loyola’s students and mission. Their commitment strengthens our community, increases scholarship support for our talented students, and provides the necessary resources to continue to offer a transformative educational experience.
