My name is Andrew Timmons. I'm currently a senior undergraduate student at Loyola University Chicago. I am pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, with concentrations in Women's Studies & Gender Studies and Political Science. My study of English has been supplemented by my minor fields of study, resulting in a commitment to examining the various ways gender, race, class, sexuality, and ability shape our understanding of the world around us. My interests are broad, reflecting my various programs' commitment to an interdisciplinary approach to education. During my time at Loyola I have been able to act as a volunteer in a variety of organizations dedicated to the service of First-Year students, such as the LUC Companions program, the Loyola 360 Retreat Program, and the Alternative Break Immersion program.
