I am pursuing a career in occupational therapy so the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) is the ideal site to complete my internship as it is the world’s leading rehabilitation hospital and research organization in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Being able to work beside RIC patients who have some of the most complex conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury make this internship experience as unique of an opportunity as I could imagine. I hope to grow through this experience by strengthening my interpersonal and analytical skills while increasing my knowledge and understanding about occupational therapy.
