Though this experience was originally driven by my class requirement, working at the St. Ignatius Food Pantry reminded me how much I enjoy service. In particular I enjoy making connections with people and at this cite I was certainly able to become friends with the staff and other volunteers. I also was able to interact closely with our community clients. That being said I'm hoping to go into service work of a kind after I graduate. What that may be I'm not quite sure yet but I think it's probable it will involve serving and making connections with others.
