Majors
Psychology and Studio Art (Drawing & Painting)

While working on this research project, I have been exposed to field work, specifically community based research methods, and data analysis, especially visual mapping data and qualitative data. The skills I am gaining will help prepare me to continue research after graduation as well as help me in my continuing study of psychology. Gaining an interest and more general knowledge about youth and violence reduction will help guide not just my future research plans, but career path and goals.

After graduating in the spring, I plan on spending a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Crops, hopefully working in a community similar to the one I am researching.  Then, after gaining experience and personal formation, I hope to earn a degree in clinical psychology.
