David Rasmussen

Marketing & Events Coordinator

David Rasmussen (he/him) helps to create meaningful touchpoints through his work as Marketing and Events Coordinator in Career Services. In this role he helps lead the social media strategy and execution, and assists heavily in the planning and implementation of different career fairs, panels, and events. 

Prior to coming to Loyola, he received his BBA in marketing from St. Norbert College while leading the new student transition programs on campus. In this role he oversaw numerous student employees and worked to increase first-year student retention rates. While in this role he found his passion for community development and event management. He is committed to creating inclusive environments, where each person can feel welcomed and valued. 

Having lived in Wisconsin most of his life, David is an avid Packers fan and wears his cheesehead proudly! Outside of the office he can be found enjoying the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, or listening to all types of music.
