UNIV 101
This course is a required for new freshman students and explores what it means to be a Loyola student. SAAS teaches student-athlete specific sections of this course to provide content and information dedicated exclusively to student-athletes to address their unique needs and time constraints.
Student-athletes will have the opportunity to learn about Loyola's Jesuit tradition, be introduced to the myriad of services and activities available on campus, in the community, and across the greater Chicagoland area. Furthermore, student-athletes will learn strategies, skills, and resources that help prepare them to be successful student-athletes in the classroom, community, and competition. This course will encourage student-athletes to think critically about their time at Loyola and begin to prepare for life beyond.
