Three types of Loyola letterhead are offered through University Printing Services. Select the version that best represents the source of information: the school/division, the department, or the individual. In each case, the Loyola lockup is anchored in the upper left, accompanied by overarching identifying details. Specific contact information is in the block in the upper right.

Division/School
A—The Loyola lockup plus the name and address of the division/school      

B—The Contact block will be three lines, flush right. Follow a similar convention as on the University business card

            Line 1: Building name and office number  •  Campus name
            Line 2: Official campus address  •  City/State/ZIP
            Line 3: Phone  •  Fax  •  e-mail  •  URL

  1. “Room” is usually not necessary
  2. In addresses, abbreviate Street (St.), Avenue (Ave.)—except in the case of Michigan Avenue—and Boulevard (Blvd.). All others should be spelled out.
  3. When detailing addresses, move from specific to general, i.e., Sullivan Center 1200 • 1032 W. Sheridan Road  •  Lake Shore Campus  •  Chicago, IL 60660.
  4. Use periods for internal separation within phone numbers  312.915.5000
  5. Capitalize “LUC” in e-mail addresses and in references to Loyola’s website. uvid@LUC.edu and LUC.edu/xxxxx

Department

A— The Loyola lockup plus the name and address of the division/school (line 1) and the name of the department or office (line 2)

B—Follow the same conventions that are used in Division/School letterhead.

Individual

A—The Loyola lockup plus the name of the person and relevant credentials (line 1). The person’s title(s) follow. If multiple titles are necessary, separate with bullets. Up to three lines are available.

B—Follow the same conventions that are used in Division/School letterhead.
