What is your favorite thing about working at Loyola?
I enjoy the daily interaction with the wonderful Loyola community and outstanding library staff.

What is your most memorable achievement as a Loyola employee?
Being selected as a member of a team for a Loyola sponsored faculty and staff immersion trip to Kenya and Tanzania, East Africa. It was an amazing experience for me. First, as an African-American, it was a dream come true and secondly, to see Loyola at work internationally and making a tremendous difference in the lives of others was an experience I will never forget.

What does Loyola's mission mean to you?
While it is great to have goals, it is difficult to have a truly meaningful and successful life without the giving of service. To serve, to make a difference, to help someone on this journey, for me, that is one of the primary reasons for being.

What motivates you to succeed each and every day?
I am working on succeeding every day. However, my motivation comes from personal desire to do my best in serving the library patrons, my family, my church, and my community.

Tell us how you show your Rambler pride.
Bragging about Loyola. Also, encouraging youth that are interested in attending college to apply to Loyola. The University has so many unique opportunities.

Tell us something most people at Loyola would be surprised to know about you.
My passion is jewelry design. I am sure that I have accumulated over 1,000 beads. Walking barefoot on the floor of my home is no longer an option!
