The Center for Tutoring & Academic Excellence offers free collaborative learning opportunities that include small group tutoring and tutor-led study halls to Loyola students. Loyola Math Club Tutoring

The Loyola Math Club offers free tutoring to students in any math class required for the completion of a math major.

Fall 2015 Schedule:

  • Mondays and Tuesdays
  • 7–8:30 p.m.
  • Flanner Hall, Room 007

Discussion Sections

Students in MATH 117, 118, 131 or 132 should be aware of the new discussion sections MATH 117D, 118D, 131D, and 132D. These are non-credit and ungraded supplements to the course which are available to all students in the course regardless of the section. Each discussion section is intended to be a forum in which students can go over problems and course material. Registration in LOCUS is recommended but not required for students to participate in the discussion section. Each discussion section will be led by Aleksandr Goltsiker according to the following schedule:

  • MATH 117D: Tuesdays 4–5:30 p.m., Mundelein 514
  • MATH 118D: Wednesdays 4–5:30 p.m., Mundelein 204
  • MATH 131D: Thursdays 4–5:30 p.m., Mundelein 204
  • MATH 132D: Mondays 4–5:30 p.m., Mundelein 204

Students in these courses should receive a message with the relevant information.
