About

Research is a team effort. Collaboration leads to more discoveries and rapid translation into interventions for the prevention and treatment of health problems.

Loyola University Chicago is committed to excellence in research and education, and ultimately to excellent care for every patient. This commitment is realized through the work being done in Loyola's new Center for Translational Research and Education. Nearly 500 investigators and trainees work in the building, including scientists, doctors, nurses, and students from the Loyola’s Stritch School of Medicine, The Graduate SchoolMarcella Niehoff School of Nursing, and the Loyola University Health System.

On this site you will learn more about our health sciences research projects, which are working towards one unified goal—the rapid translation of fundamental science discoveries into real treatments for human health.
