Loyola’s brand is one of the University’s most enduring assets. Recognized locally and globally, our name and visual elements connect the University’s mission to the hearts and minds of audiences and constituents.

A unified brand, established through consistent application of identity standards and guidelines, is the foundation of Loyola’s reputation providing a guiding light for all our marketing efforts. It is vital that Loyola’s brand be consistent across all colleges, schools, divisions, departments, offices, and programs.

This section is for Loyola Chicago faculty, staff, and students, along with contracted service providers, to produce branded materials and marketing collateral in print, digital media, environmental signage, and merchandise using approved standards. These resources will:

  • Create a comprehensive identity system that is consistent
  • Boldly establish Loyola University Chicago’s position as a cohesive university
  • Build momentum and visibility for the Loyola University Chicago name
  • Elevate the University’s presence, prominence, and recognition
  • Provide hierarchy, clarity, and documentation of standards for all entities
  • Decrease the fragmentation of usage across Loyola University Chicago
  • Create rules that are more instructive and better defined, yet easy to adopt
  • Provide guidance and a rationale that will encourage adoption
