Aerospace Medicine Interest Group
The SSOM's Aerospace Medicine Interest Group (AeroMedIG) aims to provide students and residents with a platform to further explore the unique intersection of medicine, spaceflight, and aviation. AeroMedIG's purpose is to improve accessibility to the field by providing opportunities to further learn about aerospace medicine and how to pursue it, to create and expand a network in the Midwest, and to foster a deeper appreciation of what it means to practice in austere environments.
