Accessibility Procedures

ACE coordinates accommodations for physicians-in-training with disabilities.   Read additional information about the accommodations application process in the SSOM Academic Policy Manual.

  • Individuals may apply for accommodations after they are admitted, but before they enroll; contact the Dean of Admissions.
  • Once enrolled, an individual may begin the process of applying for accommodationsContact the Vera M. Schalanksy, director, ACE.
  • Individuals are required to submit appropriate supporting documentation and to meet with staff to begin the interactive process regarding accommodations.  For information regarding the required documentation, please consult Loyola University Chicago's Documentation Guidelines. 
  • Please note, individuals requesting test accommodations for USMLE board examinations must apply directly to the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). Stritch has created guidance on this process.
