Kelsey Burge
Kelsey is a Political Science Ph.D. student at Loyola University Chicago. Prior to coming to Loyola, Kelsey received her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Bradley University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law and became a licensed attorney in Illinois, where she practiced law in the areas of family law and plaintiff personal injury law. Her research interests are in the field of comparative politics and broadly include the impact religion has on the formation of governmental systems, particularly the relationship between Islam and democratic institutions.
