Dr. Brodbeck's principal research interest is electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy of transition ions in crystals, catalysts, and glassy materials. His other interests include electronic instrumentation, optical holography, and instructional computer software. He helped to develop the Dual Degree engineering program in physics.
