Jesús Luzardo, PhD
Assistant Professor
Jesús Luzardo is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy. He earned his PhD in Philosophy from Fordham University. His main areas of research are Social Political Philosophy, Critical Philosophy of Race, Social Political Philosophy, Continental Philosophy, and Latin American/Latinx Philosophy. He is currently working on a book manuscript on the relationship between nostalgia and white supremacy, and is co-editing (with Tyrone Palmer) a Special Issue of Philosophy Today on current work at the intersection of Black Studies and Continental Philosophy.
He also helps run the Philosophy Department’s Marxism Reading Group.
