Strengthening Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Over the past year, ITS has reinvigorated our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) committee, aligning with university-wide initiatives for greater impact. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are crucial for fostering respect, innovation, and a sense of belonging. These principles not only align with our values but also enhance our effectiveness and service delivery.

In the next year, our DEI committee will focus on several key initiatives. We’ll introduce staff DEI training, integrate DEI activities into our events, and set up feedback mechanisms. We’ll also start an ITS book club to encourage DEI discussions. Our aim is to create an inclusive ITS environment that embodies Loyola University Chicago’s values and improves the experience for our community.
