During University 101, the first year seminar, you’ll work on creating an academic plan that incorporates all of the academic requirements you must complete in order to earn your degree at Loyola University Chicago. You may find the following resources useful in creating your plan:

Frequently Asked Questions

First-year first-semester students are not able to enroll in more than 18 credits. We recommend that you enroll in 14-17 credits during your first semester. To maintain full-time enrollment status, you must register for a minimum of 12 credits.

After your first year, you may appeal to take over 18 credits using the form found on this page
