Join other faculty on 8/20/24 for a day long workshop on implementing growth focused grading and assessment practices into your syllabus. Using the book Grading for Growth, the morning will focus on the fundamentals of practices like specifications and standards-based grading, including how other faculty are using it at LUC. The afternoon will then be a hands on walk through of how to begin the process of implementing growth focused grading in your current courses.
The workshop will run from 9am to 3pm on 8/20/24 in McCormick Lounge in Coffey Hall. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Attendees will receive a copy of Grading for Growth.
