Abena Boamah-Acheampong is the founder + CEO of Hanahana Beauty, a consciously clean, skin care, beauty + wellness brand. As a former 7th math teacher and therapist, her work has been driven by curating learning experiences focused on holistic wellness and showcasing stories of black women globally through visual content creation. Abena launched Hanahana Beauty while getting her MEd from Loyola Unversity and in the last 7 years, she has built the brand into a cult favorite brand with the mission to bring humanity to the skincare industry. Hanahana Beauty is creating results-driven products + empowering Black women globally by creating sustainable paths from producers to their customers, starting with closing the living wage and creating healthcare for shea butter producers in Ghana. The likes of Beyonce have recognized Abena's work to Forbes and have presented and partnered with brands like Tedx Havard University and more.
